Use Case
How a bank used Equifax public record data to perform opportunity sizing on their existing portfolio.
The bank sent their portfolio, including all customers (auto, card, etc.), and requested information on which customers opened a new mortgage in the past 12 months. Equifax identified this information by reviewing its public record data to determine if a newly recorded lien or change of ownership instrument was recorded against the property within the specified timeframes.
Equifax provided new lender information, terms, and loan rates for customers who refinanced their loans. This information allowed the bank to understand their portfolio attrition to help them better identify new solutions for their existing and prospective customers.
