Local

Local credit union leagues play a vital role in the financial landscape of communities. These leagues are associations comprised of multiple credit unions within a specific region, working collaboratively to advance shared goals and enhance member services. By pooling their resources and expertise, local credit union leagues provide valuable support, advocacy, and training to their member credit unions. They facilitate communication and cooperation among credit unions, fostering an environment of innovation and cooperation. Local credit union leagues also serve as a platform for collective action, representing the interests of credit unions in legislative and regulatory matters. Through their efforts, local credit union leagues help strengthen the financial well-being of individuals and businesses in their communities, promoting financial literacy, and offering affordable and accessible financial services.

State

The American Association of Credit Union League (AACUL)

AACUL is the national association for the state and regional credit union leagues/associations throughout the United States. AACUL’s mission is to cultivate the success of individual leagues as well as the collective League System by supporting league efforts to advocate, communicate, collaborate, and influence policy on behalf of credit unions nationwide. We partner with the Credit Union National Association (CUNA) to foster the CUNA-League System relationship and the prosperity of the credit union movement.

AACUL membership is comprised of every state credit union association/league, proudly representing credit unions and their members in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. AACUL members sit on numerous industry committees and/or organization boards to represent the League System.

National

America’s Credit Unions

Credit Union National Association (CUNA) and The National Association of Federally-Insured Credit Unions (NAFCU) have joined to create one, unified national association that advocates for all of America's credit unions. That means everything from legislative advocacy to training to industry-leading events and products. Together with the Leagues, they work to support, protect, unify, and advance the credit union movement.
